Agree with the "no way Keanu can pull off Spike" comment. Keanu's roles are pretty much of dark hardnuts (excluding his work in Bill & Ted), so he's got half of it, but I cannot see him pulling off Spike's humourous side...but he does look like Spike; no question.

there's so much in the way of bleak and dark textures that it's sure to drive people to hate it (also it's kinda weird and bleepy). but it's got way better than 'good quality' power and eloquence so it lends itself to being admired as well as loathed. i'd be baffled by someone who came up with a cogent argument as to why 'this is a pretty good album' to listen to.
