haha true
i'm probably in the minority who hopes they don't try to thrash too hard for the whole album because they are probably better suited to recall a load era style of rock n roll
a happy medium could come out excellent or terrible

I can't stand Load. I'd rather them crash and burn trying a thrashy sound over them hitting mass acclaim with another crappy (IMO) rock release.

Load has some amazing songs and some shitty ones. The Outlaw Torn is one of the best songs they ever did, and Bleeding Me and King Nothing are great too.

Re-Load has some alright songs too, but Load is better.

yeah i've grown to love load pretty much start to finish, but i know i'm in the minority
there's a fantastic album buried in the record that is death magnetic so i'm not hopeless for em though

Hated Load and Reload tbh, would sooner jam St Anger and I'm deadly serious.

St. Anger is better than both Load albums.

Load rules and St Anger has a lot of good moments

Load really isn't that bad for post-80's Metallica standards. Reload on the other hand is awful.

Load is passable, but I wouldn't voluntarily listen to it on most occasions. St. Anger actually has a some good tracks, though it's basically impossible to listen to that snare drum sound for the entire 70 minutes without contemplating suicide.

If tallica kept their 80s form for another decade they would unquestionably be the greatest band OAT
