there's a glitch in one of the tracks in the remaster. an annoying sound. a perfectionist wouldn't have let that happen.

ah yes i actually know what you're talking about, i've noticed that sound. i'm pretty sure that has
nothing to do with kevin, sony just fucked up with the pressing. they're definitely both lazy for not
fixing it tho. besides that and sony mislabeling stuff the remaster is fantastic

remaster overall sounds great but when there's that glitch in a song i just would rather listen to the original. i know it seems petty but i want a complete, unspoiled album experience. if the glitch wasnt there id listen to the remaster instead, because it probably does sound better overall.

There were two versions of the remaster, if I'm not mistaken. One that favors the noise, one that favors the vocals. The former had the glitch on "What You Want", the latter did not. Worth giving that version a shot, if you can.

one "remaster" is just the original version but with the overall volume increased slightly. the other is an actual remaster with a clearer sound, and that's the one with the glitch.
