hypothetically that they don't seem like a good live band.
i don't understand how you could ever perceive this though. if they're sloppy and raucous on their recordings, inducing shout-a-longs and uncontrolled flailing when you're listening to them by yourself, how would that not translate to an absolutely transcendent experience when you're sharing it in a packed room with a couple hundred other kids who feel as passionately about the record as you do.

oh ok banana i completely misunderstood you.
and as for you iarescientists, i can't really explain why, but i have just always imagined them not living up to expectations live. maybe it is because of how highly i regard this album, and i'm just scared of my perception of them being ruined. but those were just initial hunches, im not in any way saying that they should suck live especially when it is apparent that the opposite is true.
