yeah but better than Echoes? cmon

San Tropez is great -so relaxing and optimistic- gets me in a good every time I hear it- especially
on a hot day - nothing wrong with the song at all except from the perspective of people looking for
more musical and lyrical complexity which I don't care about.

Echoes drags on for way too long and the middle part where it gets super weird gets old after you
have heard it a few times (unless you are really high. Then again I have no idea what the
lyrics say in echoes so my opinion is pretty meaningless

you defended San Tropez nicely, I can't argue with any of that bit...



but Echoes is their masterpiece, I don't think it drags at all because of the way its structured (intro, verse, verse, jam session, that part you said is cool stoned, the buildup/climax, verse, outro). The lyrics are beautiful if you're into that kinda stuff and the tone is just orgasmic throughout... and in regards to musical complexity Echoes doesn't really brag any of that, its relatively simple throughout. I'd say smoke some nice lambsbread and give it a respin sometime haha
