I'm not sure if y'all have been watching Sargent D's recent youtube videos, but he started using the term "10 year rule" and it's so true. Essentially, a band becomes popular all of the sudden and with that popularity comes tons of hate as well, and after about 10 years the haters start liking the band and even may say that the band is now a classic.

I've listened to this plenty, even forced myself to try and get into it because that what all of my friends were into. They liked so many other bands that were easy for me to get into, what could I have been missing about Asking Alexandria?

After a while, it started to dawn on me that it really was just this album that sucked, everything past it was more coherent and just...better.
