it's just that this site has averages that are soooo fucked up, it gives a bad impression to people that looks a this site for musical recommendations, they will go for the album with higher averages even when most of the time they're not the better albums

that applies for people that listen to most of the discog from a band, including albums with lower averages, but that doesn't apply to people that will only listen to the album that has a high average... a lot of the albums on this site have a high average only because they're "popular" albums, like, seriously, Nevermind would have such a slower average if it wasn't for the people that 5 it only because "it is a classic, or that's what sales and Rolling Stone magazine said" lol

Dude not even this would have as many 5s as it does if it wasn't old prog rock and all "critic approved" and shit I can guarantee you a huge chunk of the 5s and 4.5s are alts and people who only 5 the "classics" because aint nobody gonna critize them for it
if it was newer and stuff a lot of those guys would prob 4 it max because they want to look all "objective" badly!
