I just wanted to fill in my two cents for this. Only one word describes this album for me - (Absolute) Mindfuck :lol: It rapes all of your senses just to elevate you to a state of joy with the overflow of melodies and riffs/fills. Also the last couple of notes on Limb from Limb's key solo puts a big smile on my face.

Ultimately, Kezia is better to me mainly because every song on Kezia kicked major ass on first listen and still does. Fortress's tracks are great but lack in some sections.This Message Edited On 04.27.08

I can understand how people say he is skilled cause he does have a huge range but it doesn't mean they sound good... This is just my opinion ofc. But i'm just surprised that people haven't commented on the vocals at all. They don't even fit in that well.

Rody definitely helps Protest the Hero develop their unique sound. He's definitely an asset to the band.

After giving this cd its fair time in my player. I've come to the conclusion that it is excellent in all aspects. one of my fav parts is at 1:35 in spoils. amazing

The storyline in Kezia gives it an edge over Fortress in my opinion. The musician ship in Fortress is better and Rody's voice has improved, but I'm definitely still more impressed with Kezia.

I guess ur right Josh D. about the hit or miss thing, because for me it's a miss. And i'm a pretty open-minded guy. I just think it's so high pitched that it annoys me. Obviously these guys could "outplay" panic with their eyes closed. But it really isn't enjoyable to listen to. Which is the problem with a lot of this type of music. Played this in my room yesterday and actually fell asleep a few times. To me, that means it's a sh!t album. But then again, I've never been one to listen to specific bands or genres just to impress other people with my elitist views like a lot of people seem to on this website.
