gotta appreciate the classics though for how succinctly they convey what they are. rock, folk, pop, metal, jazz. all banger names

I think "progressive" aka "prog" is a solid name, and maybe IDM really means something like "dance music" (short form for electronics and beats?) taking a few more chances, aka progressive.
