What annoys me more with DT are actually La Brie's vocals. With songs I've gotten used to he's either

tolerable or even enjoyable, especially when the album is Awake or I&W. But every now and then I find myself

wishing they were instumental.

Exactly the same for me Choccy, I had been a DT fan for years and now I'm at a point where I just don't care

anymore about them. One day some months ago I was listening to ToT and I realized all their over-technical

stuff was just a bit pointless and bland for the most part. Anyways, I still jam Awake and I&W at times, and

I don't "hate" their music, but as you said the magic is just gone
