I think we've discovered a link between chocolate chip trip and 73mp3s7. It's all about cookies.

some peak reddit today about CCT:

This is one of those tracks where, if you’re a musician, you’ll notice there’s a lot happening beneath the surface. Not to be pretentious, it is simply art, steeped in both tradition and innovation.

The electronic tones blend Berlin School-inspired synths with mysticism, creating a soundscape that draws heavily from Eastern influences. It echoes the Indian ragas of Sgt. Pepper and the Middle Eastern scales explored by Led Zeppelin and King Crimson.

Tabla-like patterns evoke the ceremonial rhythms of Indian classical music, while the polyrhythms recall gamelan orchestras and the asymmetry of Balkan traditions. These ancient rhythms merge seamlessly with modern synthesizers and sequenced tones, crafting a hypnotic interplay between the organic and the mechanical. It is a rich experience, but it helps to understand the traditions that make it so.

One cookie can always become more cookies until you reach a subatomic level where a cookie becomes vibration.

would've attained them way more clout if the dude in that tasty pasta was capable of name-dropping some source music for 'world history' rather than just Sgt Pepper, Led Zep & Crimson, lmao

if you're gonna be a pretentious try-hard, at least go the whole hog and cite something a little more obscure to amaze your plebeian audience from atop your pedestal

"The use of a crash cymbal on Invincible harken back to the sounds of the 1987 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade when a marching band member dropped their cymbal onto snow-slicked asphalt. Danny's use of drums on multiple songs imbues themselves with the spirit of drumming before it. From the bouncy, expertly-timed sounds of the 114th Pennsylvania Volunteer infantry as they pounded on their snares, to the hysterical sounds of Michael Scott and his steel drums, so does Danny Carey as he maneuvers dexterously around his kit, akin to the gyrations and movements of said Union soldiers who had to dance around gunfire while staying on beat. The bullets are Maynard's words, the air between them filled by Danny's immaculately conceived drum fills."

Very fitting quote, as this album also caused a civil war between enlightened connoisseurs of high art and haters.

clown band, imagine being so cucked for a douchebag like Maynard that you’re defending this

Metallica did a whole fucking tour of two nighters with completely different set lists and both shows were longer than what this band was doing. I never would’ve been dumb enough to go to this shit but god how disappointing for the fanboys that did
