yeah the only thing i think i would change here is maybe pushing nobody back to later in the tracklist... maybe between easier and g?

I actually like how its a slow decent into slower and lighter pieces to end the album.

'speaking of prog i've been itching to get more into haken.'
You really should, they smashed their set this past weekend gone, really impressive.
Anyway I've not been able to stop listening to this since I've gotten back, honestly blown away as I was fearing the worse after Nobody dropped, but even the production isn't as big of an issue on here than hinted on with Nobody.
Cosmic, Mattel, We Love You and Beautiful morning are all killer songs.

'Edit the tracklist to:
Game, Mattel, nobody, G, O, D, we love you, beautiful morning, easier, cosmic then the title track. It totally changes the dynamic and flow of the album for me.
Cosmic should have always been the final track.'
The way that Nobody flows into G is actually so good, I'm impressed.

all id do is move cosmic between (d)eath and the t/t and maybe push easier up before beautiful morning, but ive grown into how they sequenced it more recently

if this had s/t or nightmare era matt vocals I'd probably 4 this at least, wish he didn't decide to sound like a weirdo lol

I wonder what the next A7X album will be that goes on the trending list since the discussion for this album is still going. LOL

I respect people's opinions, but when someone says the album sucks because the title track is an instrumental, thou shall burn in hell. Chances are, that same person hails Waking The Fallen as their best album, even though the title track is all but an INTERLUDE. How awful!

This is none of you guys by the way, arguing with A7X fans on Facebook lol

I think he sounds great at times and like he's sitting on the couch eating a club sandwich while trying to sing at others.

I would actually say this sentiment defines a lot of the band’s catalogue. Nightmare and City of Evil especially

its a great progression idea because it prevents you from becoming numb to the heaviness when jamming an album all the way through

If vocals were better, this could have been a 4 easily...

G is growing on me more and more.
I really like Nobody and We Love You now as well.

bruh, this is getting better, that's wild
my biggest ehhhs atm are that i like the chorus in Easier on its own but don't think it fits the song. the transition to the "help me to hear..." part in Beautiful Morning is dope. the actual part?? less so, feels kinda cheesy.
but hey, im kinda over my hate for "more etc" so anything is possible.

anyway, def AOTY so far despite flaws and after 2 weeks of listening. i don't think it tops The Stage in terms of quality as a whole but it's definitely captured my attention more which is crazy because The Stage was still a top 5 album for me that year. this is just so fun
