Might catch some flak but I think Greg sounds more deranged on some of these tracks than Dimitri ever did.

Dudes straight fucking insane on a few of these songs

more great music coming from Liam https://lambgoat.com/news/30423/Dillinger-Escape-Plan-Extol-members-launch-band-premiere-song

the singer is in an indie pop duo which makes the screams surprising to me, as well as making me wonder how they all met/got together

yeah sadly I don't really care for anything the guys put out individually.

Giraffe Tounge Orchestra was super disappointing to me considering Dillinger and Alice In Chains are two of my favorites.

idk this band is weird, their stuff varies from shockingly brilliant to intensely irritating & sometimes that happens within the space of about 2 minutes.

i'd agree with that assessment. i respect and appreciate them, but i don't really want to listen to them. I've been revisiting their discography this week and remembering that they're aren't that many songs i'm that into.

FWML was the first song that caught me on these guys...I can't even quite explain what I felt when I first listened to it... I don't know if wanted to cry or scream or laugh hysterically. The mix between heavy fury and melody is meant to pull emotion from every pore and at the same time makes you feel like a real twisted sick serial killer...

We're murderers! Murderers and liars and rapists and thieves!
