"What sort of edits did you make?"
i did some transient stuff to at least try and make it sound somewhat less "squashed" for one, then dynamic eq since a lot of the frequencies i was boosting were kinda the ones you're usually supposed to cut, & i was mainly turning 'em up for the snare & overdriven guitars' benefit
for what it's worth, this is a snap shot of the waves at the moment ("remaster" on bottom)

I was gonna say, using audacity for all of that sounds like a horrible horrible pain lmao. What'd you use? Reaper? Pro Tools? Cubase? FL Studio?

Additionally, I find it so odd how SNW has gained so much praise over the years. For the few years after that album's release and even into post-Diamond Eyes days, that record got a lot of hate from a lot of areas; this website included. Besides that befuddlement, maybe the same will happen with this (better) album. And that's not to say I don't love Saturday Night Wrist.

I've always enjoyed SNW the most tbh. I'll never understand why someone who likes Deftones would dislike that album.
I enjoy Gore quite a bit too but it's definitely a weird one for them. I hope they don't wait four years for the next album again.
