some of the huge changes in volume in this album are a little disconcerting. seemingly random how loud some songs are. i shouldn't listen to it when i'm drifting off to sleep.

andcas: If that question was directed towards me, then yes. I mean it might not be what everyone is
expecting--what can you really expect after all these years?--but Shields is too much of a
perfectionist. If it ever sees the light of day, I trust his judgement in that regard, whether the
album turns out amazing, or not. Basically, I'm sure that he believes 100% that it's amazing; assuming
it gets released. We'll see if I dig the direction, or the style of it.
