Ya it’s either this or the Daoboys but im leaning towards this personally. I Don’t Want to See You In Heaven is far more creative and tries a whole lot more musically but as a result just isn’t as consistent.
It’s a record I have a massive amount of respect for but can recognize it has some flaws. This thing is just damn near flawless all the way through even if it isn’t the most groundbreaking thing in the world.

Hawks not vibin with this and new Deftones makes me wonder if all the shitty and sad events of this year are affecting his enjoyment of music...
I like the new Deftones lmao. I'm just not on my knees blowing it like most of you. Same goes for this. It's still good lol.

Yeah IDK it's a step up for them and probably my favorite so far, but I'm not sure this album is worth all this fanfare either

Just got this on vinyl and it sounds even better. The line delivery of 'He's not me! He's not me!' in Amethyst is perfection.

Highly doubt this will be topped this year tbh.
PS: Spinning this masterpiece rn and getting goosebumps all over. George screams hit so deep with those awesome lyrics... Deafheaven's magnum opus!
