You're winning the pagebreak game today, strike.
And yeah I'm sure I heard NIB's bassline before the actual album.

Geezer is battling Iommi for the prize of the master riffage man. But in all honesty, the more i listen to those early sabbath albums the more i like Ward's drumming. Every time i discover something new. He's such a fantastic drummer.

Ward makes the band, that jazz drumming behind the doom is a perfect touch, and what all other "Doom" bands miss
why they will always be the best

Butler and Ward were an awesome combination. I love Bill's work on the early stuff. His swing underneath the crunching riffs is what sets them apart.

I listened to this full album while driving from Wyoming to Texas and i never noticed alot of the intricacies of Bill's amazing drumming until very recently. Excellent drummer

agreed, his work is hugely underrated

Been listening to only newer music for a while now and decided to give this a spin. Man, it feels good sometimes just to put on a classic and get stuck in a discography.

to be fair, iommi's guitar soloing skills on the mediocre tony martin albums are really really really good

there is never a time when this is a bad choice to throw on
