Finally have a verdict for this thing. As with 98% of albums of this length, it could've been very well served if it'd been 20 minutes + shorter, but there's only like 2 actually skippable songs on here and most of this stuff is just fantastic, really like it a lot.

This is definitely the best since Crack the Skye (Hunter, Once and Emperor each have standouts, but all are all mixed bags for me), but it does kinda run out of steam for me in the second half. Maybe my opinion will change overtime, but the second half is keeping this from a 4.5.

first four, fam. the elemental tetralogy. the big concept albums with some fire in them. before the octopus lost his friends.
