they said they had a record's worth of songs written, yes. But most of those were written while they were on tour. Back home they obviously didn't like them enough. Canceled a tour to write more. Then Sean had to get surgery for smth which doesn't help. Also, and I know I'm pretty much alone with this, but I still think they should've added a second guitarist. Obvious reasons for live shows, but this is also the first time Erik has to write every single riff.
We'll see.

I could have sworn I saw someone commenting here that they had a chat with Erik after a show and they said that the record was done but Sharptone insisted that they got a hold of a rapper (?) as a feature on one their songs and thus disagreements arose post-poning the whole album in the process. Here's hoping that the pressure to live up to this one isn't getting to their heads too much.

Given Sharptones track record so far I don't think this is believable? Even the Spiritbox / Megan Thee Stallion collab for example came together through MTS's management and I've yet to hear any band say anything negative about Sharptone
