Album is very mediocre, just basic Ariana Grande with by-the-numbers R&B pastiche. Sounds like it only took 24 hours to make. I do like my hair & motive; pov, love language & safety net are above average, the rest is forgettable.

I mean as far as mainstream pop goes I do stan because she actually has a few songs per alb I really like which is more than i can say about 90% of the others but being real this is a 3 new one is a 3 and sweetener and dangerous women are both 2.5-3's or something

Yeah, most mainstream pop sucks. And not because it's pop. I mean, pop is a great genre. It just has a bad habit of rehashing similar tropes over and over. If I'm taking modern stuff, I prefer some shit like Perfume Genius. I just peeped Carly Rae's Emotion for the first time in a long time and it still ekes out a 4. Love the 80's moments on it. And yeah, Ariana has some tunes but no albums.
