This tends to happen on here a lot I feel like. A few people dislike something and its becomes a trend and everyone just bandwagons. This is fairly consistent with the rest of the RTJ discog, and they put out consistently great records so its whatever. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

thats fine but to call anything like objectively great then group detractors together and say theyre just bandwagoning as if its not possible to simply not like the album is dumb and not true at all

rtj is watered down party music done intentionally by two otherwise great artists

in my opinion

i dont give a shit what the consensus opinion is on anything

aight man, wasn't starting any beef with ya but I wasn't calling this objectively great just feel like people don't even listen to this shit to be able to call it bad and just hate on something they haven't given a fair chance, just assuming its bad after hearing some negative feedback.

maybe bandwagoning was the wrong term.

I'd hardly call RTJ "watered down", I'd use that term for the likes of Big Sean, if we're being real. This doesn't even come close to that level of stupidity comparatively speaking. This album has intelligent references to politics, police brutality and social change. Yeah you get some humorous lines in the mix but what rap doesn't? I'd hardly call that "watered down"... more like an attempt to boost sales. If you dislike the fact that music artists have to throw in some dumb lines here and there to attract more people to listen then you clearly just glazed over this album. Unless you're calling the beats "watered down" then that's something I could at least understand regardless of my opinion.

Probably pointless to rant here but that's my opinion on this.
