I was expecting the songs being longer in length. I'm more comfortable listening to 10 minute songs than 4 minute songs.

I'm craving some rarities so bad.

When this setlist turned out to be an April Fools joke I nearly cried.

Regardless of how you feel about this album it's hard to deny James isn't back to his near best live.

Dude is a machine, never messes up live and has always been the best thing about Metallica.

"Really? That setlist looks terrible"

I actually dig a lot of those songs, especially Fixxxer & Eye.

I'll even jam Prince Charming once in a while, albeit with a feeling of immense shame.

First I would like to say the review was well written and objective. However, I don't necessarily find the album to be worthy of a 3.5. I felt the songs, albeit a step in the right direction, were considerably dry. "Here Comes Revenge" was overall a decent song, but the chorus could have been way better. "Hardwired" was a juvenile song in general and felt unnecessary. "Spit Out the Bone" stands out as the best track in the album, and there was a lot of filler. In my opinion, I would have given it a 3 based on a lot of other in-depth reasons.

Secondly, the setlist for Metallica's current tour is generic to say the least. I would have rather seen them play "...And Justice for All" for the sole purpose of intigrating the statue into the stage and watching it crumble apart, and because "...And Justice for All" is one of their best written songs. I would have also liked to hear "Harvester of Sorrows," "My Friend of Misery," "The Day That Never Comes," "Creeping Death," "Ride the Lightning," "Sanitarium," "Whiskey in the Jar," and "Blackened."
