Let me talk about Nikes and how beautiful it is again.

VERY overrated and somewhat boring album but it least it gave us that 3k verse and that Nights beat switch.

Melody in Nike’s feels really lazy to me... :/
But the ambience and wobble bass are beautiful

I think i might cut out “solo (reprise)” too if it came down to it, but I’m not sure I mind it

I can’t abide by calling “nights” overhyped in any fashion, but then again I spent three paragraphs of a year-end writeup focusing on it lol. It’s like one of my favorite songs ever, and the structure/change-ups are a huge part of that

Oh yeah, there was a time where I racked up that amount of plays on “nights” as well. It’s just astonishing.

yep, that part stunned me on first listen. this is probably the most iconic release of the decade, might be one of the most influential too

I actually thought “nikes” was sort of wack on first listen—I remember I was playing overwatch...but loved “self control” and “nights”
