this is the first album I've actually felt compelled to "remaster" myself but god I'm glad I did cos I can actually listen to the fucking thing now without totally resetting my stereo every time

could probably use at least another adjustment or two on all the tracks but even right now it's the only way i listen to this now, can't even do the cd/official streams anymore unless i'm at work on my monitors or whatev

well, there were one or two other things i put on it to try and "de-smash" it a little but primarily it was about making the heavy guitars sound a little less uh, trebly atonal? the whole "blast of white light" thing that may have been on the past coupla albums but by about a tenth as extreme
