u is one of the most interesting tracks on here for sure. the shifts in moods, production and songwriting are great, and it sounds like nothing else on here (and reads.. the lyrics are some serious shit).. it's one of the tracks I wouldn't consider a filler on here even if I disliked it, just because it's such an essential part of this record

i cant tell if you are being snarky or not but if you are i assure you i have provided plenty of explanation within the confines of this thread as to why i dislike 'u', what the other songs i dislike are, and what my feelings about this album as a whole are. enough that i'd rather not rant off about it again so ill just say this much: the beat is fine but the second half of the song with the cry singing goes on too long and gets insufferably obnoxious. since this half of the song (which is essentially a different song) is stapled to the front half this is irksome that you can't just skip the annoying shitty sounding cry song.
