I love how all the new tracks sound like them, but also fresh? I like them all so far

I got tickets to their concert in April. Never got into this band too much but I'm hoping that seeing them live does it for me.

saw them live 3 times before (once at a festival, twice headline) and they ruled. granted that was all pre-pandemic, but still id imagine they still kick ass

It’s probably the weakest of the new tracks but it’s still a great song. The part where the riff comes in (‘quiet like death is around’ part) is an ATG Karnivool moment.

They’ve released animation. Another great song.

Better than great, it might be the next best single to come after All It Takes. So far I'd say

All It Takes/Animation > Drone/Aozora > Opal

Lol just release the whole album please. I can't wait though. 13 years later, for some odd reason xD

Aozora>Drone>Animation>All It Takes>Opal

All the singles are awesome though.

It comes out tonight. Finallllly. Keen to hear the studio version of reanimation. It has the possibility to be a top tier vool song. Also, Remote Self Control is apparently one of the heavies/craziest songs they’ve done. The reviews describe two longer songs have me intrigued. Apparently they’re very subdued and post Rocky.

Don't know if I'll appreciate such style, when I first saw the songs' lengths I looked forward to something more of a Deadman. Though, well, we've already heard pieces of post-rock on the previous two albums and it worked. Hype either way.

This album grew over the years. I do prefer the deluxe edition black album cover and that's the one I use in my library. Also if you switch "Aeons" and "Asymmetry" places the album flows better.

New one is insanely good. More of the Sound Awake spirit and a little bit of Themata. It's as if they never left.

The deluxe cover is definitely more prog-looking and epic, but I love the standard edition's colour palette. The bat/butterfly back cover art is also nice.
