Agreed, that'd be interesting. I imagine the album's going to be a lot like the self-titled with a few more subtle electronic moments, I'm hoping that the band ups some of the production on it, too. That said, that seems to be Volcano Choir's forte, so we'll see about it.

I agree with Rowan, I've come to expect that nothing will surpass For Emma, which in retrospect might have been the album that got me into music; I'm sure whatever comes from this will be excellent, but I can't have expectations as high as the debut or I'll be disappointed no matter how amazing this turns out. Can't wait, I'm excited, too.

Yeah, and I feel like on their hiatus not much music would've been written specifically for this album. Excited to see what this album sounds like. On Wikipedia, the album's listed as "22 Days With Marvin "The Gaye" Martian" - wondering if it's a dumb joke or a weird move by one of the members. Bet's on the former, but perhaps Kanye's had some influence on Justin.

A lot of major publications have been posting about it, but it's been stated that there won't be a livestream, just that Bon Iver is premiering the new album live tonight
