I know, Ruiner's guitar solo has a 70s rock feel to it, which contrasts rather nicely against the industrial metal.

ive been doing a lot of thinking and tbh if you take off trents vocals and the more aggressive guitar parts , this is basically an instrumental new order album, it kinda is a dance album for post punk/ goth kids
I don't see it.

This is composed masterfully and totally works in the way it was intended to. My problem is that I just don't have enough angst to get into it :[

I'm not sure it would be worth hating my life just to like this more, but maybe it would be a saving grace...

I don't really agree you have to have hate in your belly to enjoy this, you just have to listen in Trent's perspective.
|
| |
Fair enough, but still...that is not a perspective I'm inclined to share at the moment.

Idk I just love it haha but knowing all the shit Trent went through I can't help but feel for him and relate to him on some levels
while listening to this. Like Trent I've went through social anxiety. That was just one of the many things he went through
unfortunately. Glad to see he's happier now though.
