what? also im not an asshole, i just have a low tolerance for stupidity. seriously though im not in the mood to be arbitrarily attacked by two little dipshits so don't use me to out your shitty little insecurities. is this because i called kattun a moron up there? Hm, maybe if he wasn't acting like one I would have been a little nicer. I dont care if people disagree, and you little goons should probably get over the fact that im never going to be as complacent as most on this site. This Message Edited On 04.11.08

Me giving my opinion does not make me a moron, I just said that interlude was out of place, then you who almost always defends PTH's decision disagreed with it. I gave my reasons of why I think it is out of place and also said that the placement of a couple of songs in general on this album is akward to me, then you basically say I am stupid...

Yeah but you're arguing that the coda would make more sense in the middle of the "movement" which is kind of ridiculous given that a coda goes at the end. If it didnt it'd be pointless. I think the coda after Spoils is a little underwhelming but I obviously think it's supposed to be there (or not at all, but then it'd be a little awkward).

And man don't take it to heart, it's the internet. Shouldn't have called you a moron but you were completely ignoring my argument and I'm a cranky guy lately.

holy motherfucking dipshits itt

in any case the codas are pretty cool. I rewinded the CD and found the "hidden coda", it fits pretty well with Bloodmeat (though I like the 'regular' intro as well.)

though i still ask the question "why not just put it in the song", it seems a little pretentious to make it a hidden intro

It's possible that the same thing happened on this that did on Kezia, where the intro got lost in the minus-time, only this time around you can actually hear it (not sure if the later-produced Kezia's allow rewinding to the intro). It's more likely however that it's kind of a send-up to that incident.

I agree with you though it should have just been at the start of the track. But then some people would say "oh I have to sit through this pretentious intro before the music starts" or whatever.

@Chan or anyone else who has the instrumentals: Where did you guys get them from? I know iTunes has them along with SpiralFrog.

Well it's better than putting it as an intro track or a hidden track imho. Too many bands make "Intro" songs that are actually just a keyboard note swelling or some shit.

Finally attained.

I really dont know what to think. The music is awesome and the musicianship is phenominal, certainly better than Kezia. It just didnt hit me as hard as Kezia did though. After listening to the album in its entirety, I came to the conclusion that there was way too much sweeping. The guitar acrobatics got a little old by the end. But I do have a feeling this will grow on me a little more.

Im keeping Kezia at a 5 and will put this at a 4 for now. Havent even owned the album a full day yet, so rating will probably change.

Kezia probably came out of nowhere for you though, so obviously this isnt going to hit you as hard.

I had the same problem. This album really is over-whelming if you are well-versed in Kezia. After like 5 listens i got used to it but it really is a huge step that needs to grow on you much more than Kezia needed to (at least for me).

I anticipated you would be the first one to respond (at Tyler. Hope Im cool enough to call you by your first name). Youre absolutely right, and to be fair, Ive taken that into account.
