It's not great. A couple good songs in Unbound and Brompton Cocktail, but most of the rest is mediocre, and Lost/Dear God are both really bad.

Biggest problem with the album is it lacks a track like Save Me or The Wicked End that's good enough to single-handedly bump it up like a full half-point.

Why does everyone hate Dear God so much? It's not that bad or that might be the nostalgia speaking

But seriously, it's a better album than the credit given. Loads of fun tunes.

Decided to bump my rating. The experimentalism here doesn't always yield satisfactory results and M. Shadows' vocal performance is hardly what I'd call steady, although I think the self-titled offering boasts great craftsmanship (particularly from The Rev) and can be an amusing listen whenever given the chance.

On a side note, Unbound and Brompton Cocktail are sweet songs. I don't care much for Almost Easy anymore, tbqh.

This would be a fantastic album if all the tracks were replaced with 'Kill V Maim' by Grimes

i only ever got a cd copy of waking the fallen...might pick up city of evil because of how much of a jam sidewinder and m.i.a. are.

on here, brompton cocktail was pretty cool if i remember correctly. only song on the 2nd half id ever give a spin again. i think i liked gunslinger too.

id say this isnt as bad of an album as everyone else thinks, but its easily one of their worst.

Not even close bro. I even dig Nightmare and Hail to the King even though a lot of people don't.
