Na, fanboyism is a myth my friend.
|
| |
That makes absolutely no sense. A flexible term describing a phenomenon can't be a "myth".
|
| |
It's kind of hard to prove that fanboys don't exist, Pleb.

"All humor is is a shield"
That notion is as outdated as it is simplistic.

Well, their newest two LPs are pretty much some kind prog rock worship so they're already quite different from their other material. Damnation is a completely acoustic album.
While I'm not too big on this album it's still within the range of albums I'd recommend you to listen to if you wanna get into Opeth. This, My Arms, Your Hearse, Ghost Reveries, Blackwater Park, Still Life and Morningrise, maybe also Orchid and Watershed. I personally don't care for the latter two and their newest LPs.
