The Moth, The Alien, The Gold, Lead SD, The Grocery, The Silence...album is absolutely stacked.

hmmmm, maybe I should retry this

Seeing that you have it at a 2.5, I’d say another listen or two is mandatory.

This album resonates with me emotionally the way The Hotelier does for everyone else. Hull's lyrics and delivery are everything, I've had some cathartic, near mental breakdowns while listening to this.

Lyrical and musical narrative coherence, when overlooked, may give you the sense of listening to the same song all along. It happens that each song here has its own charachter, its one intense and emotional journey all along. The only think I could point out here is that it doesn t end in its peak. Just lay the guards down and embrace the moments of true beauty and bliss.

Yeah this is an emotional masterpiece, but I don’t think it’s entirely reliant on that one aspect. Connecting with the narratives will help of course, although I must say that the instrumental side of this seems rather under-appreciated. The guy’s voice is excellent as well.

Yea, the instrumentation is also telling the story. Really is an exceptional album.

I've used Sputnik for years to find my music and only just created an account to whole heartedly agree with you. This album was absolutely life changing for me.

Gonna chime in here and say yeah, I don't post on sputnik much (Except under quarantine i guess) but i've been lurking since roughly when this came out, i found it through this site and it floored me.

Honestly, this is a lot better for me than their previous material. Don't know how hot of a take that is.

@Mars: I feel the same, appears to be somewhat of a hot-take, but there are others here who appear to share this view.
