Yeah this is better than I’d initially thought, I’m interested how their other albums may have changed over time (for better, or worse... hopefully not the latter though).

I had found some of the song-writing a little obnoxious, it’s still a pretty ‘wacky’ album but I find it more palatable than before somehow. I also don’t really mind Unretrofied anymore, weird. It’s fine for what it is and Dillinger wouldn’t be Dillinger unless they were throwing pop-leaning curveballs in-between batshit mathcore numbers.
