I know Neige writes/performs almost everything (One of the best songwriters really, he's able create fantastic images through sound as in Egarran's example above), but I think Winter deserves some credit as well, especially on Kodama. I feel it's his most diverse and strongest performance and really brings the tracks to higher highs if such a thing can be said in the English language.
It's such a perfect record in all aspects, songwriting-wise it's a perfect balance of all the key Alcest elements and everything else to guitar tones, reverb and drum sound.

he really took his work a step up with this, more diverse guitar techniques and types of sounds. i think the french language really adds to the tribal feel too
