Not so sure about that yet, he has a history of troll ratings. (Though he did back this one up on RYM.)

Yeah I saw, it's why I'm thinking (or at least hoping) this one is legit.

After several months of Mods, Truckers, Lambchops and Isbells I returned to this for a spin.
20 seconds in and I'm on the floor, foetal position crying buckets and wailing.
Nothing comes close!!!

Can't say I listen to this very regularly these days but whenever I do it never fails to impress. Truly one of the greats.

Fuck my heart clenches every time Gavin says "Untilllllllllllll our timmmmmmmmmmmes has commmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmme" and there's that delay and the beautiful instrumentation omg

I'm glad I finally "got this". Tbh I kind of disregarded it for stupid and childish reasons. Mainly his voice and also it sounded very ehhhhhhh old ? dad rock like? Idk lol but now I definitely see it.

"Idk both of those things are positives for me tbh."
Ya and they are for me too but I heard almost no folk / dad rock so I wasn't really used to it. I kind of just mused it was funny and was boring ol' sadboi that was overrated because hipsters(sorry Doof I was wrong). It's very very good though obviously.
What's your favorites guys? I'd say Crazy on the Weekend, Chasing The Dream, Spinning Around the Sun, Good Day to Die, Lips, Monkey Dead, and Swing Low. Hurricane is close to those as well.

Too many great ones to choose from, the very very best are Hurricane, Chasing the Dream, Good Day to Die, Swing Low, Hard Sun, the t/t (though I think we maybe overrate that one a *little* bit in general). I love 'em all though, even Animal.

"Good Day to Die" is my favorite from here and a potential all-time top 10 track for me. Other favorites include "Swing Low," "Hard Sun," "Monkey Dead" (jfc what an amazing run), the title track, and "Hurricane". Most of the songs on here are 5s though, and the lowest rating I'd give any individual tune is a 4

I think I'd say something like Swing Low > Monkey Dead(these top two are like in my top 20 songs tbh) > Spinning Around the Sun > Lips > Crazy on the Weekend > Good Day to Die > Chasing the Dream > Hurricane > Hard Sun > Loud Crowd > Animal > Second Coming
idk this is pretty hard to rank especially lips - Chasing the Dream, those are all pretty much equal. Hurricane - Second coming and the top 2 i don't think will change much. Hard Sun and every thing up is a 4.0+ to me.

Monkey Dead I've never been quite as keen on as the rest, really great song but something about it seems a bit too simple and almost commercial. It doesn't elicit quite the same emotional response as the rest.
Animal is kind of weird because of the grunge influence, however I think the mixture of acoustic elements and strings allows it to be better than it has any right to be. Plus I like how it comes as a sort of emotional release before the quiet comedown of Second Coming.

I don't know. It's funny I was just thinking "Hey...Animal kind of sounds like a Pearl Jam b-side" and i was about to type that but I didn't want to put two comments in a row like spam(sorry i did that earlier). Funny we thought the same thing.
I don't know , Monkey dead has some of my favorite lyrics here and it's really catchy so. It is their only single if i'm correct so.

Don't get me wrong I love Monkey, but yeah you can definitely tell that its the album's "single".
Now that you love this ALA I task you with listening to Beautiful Skeletons.
