let me put it this way... its mostly just the beefcore production on Augment that elevates it for me. so meaty. impulse is a little bit less low end IMO

my least fav chorus is prob something like disarray or drift i love all of impulses melodies. his voice sounds less developed but i really love the youthful charm to it
and hell yea shoutout andromeda rules very hard too

I still love Jesse man, it's JT that kills me. He has been sounding better lately tho, past few singles owned and Ghost of Nothing is a ripper

I really love this album but Impulse is so much better imo. This is great but its just a retread of that sound.

JT is decent enough but Jesse's hit-or-miss ratio when it comes to cleans is sooooo bad now.

THEY NEED GARRISON BACK. but obviously not happening. I think theyve started to peak with JT though, I dont see how they could get closer to this sound without Alan or Garriso

I would do anything for Garrison to come back, dude's by far my favorite harsh vocalist. Neither he nor Alan would ever come back tho :[

So, what lineup is here compared to what they have now?
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
Garrison Lee - harsh vocals
Jesse Cash - lead guitar/clean vocals
Alan Rigdon - rhythm guitar/background vocals
Alex Ballew - drums
some dude - bass
Now JT Cavey is lead vocals, and not sure what the new rhythm guitarist's name is.

Sean Price was on bass for touring this album, but he's since changed over to rhythm guitar, and Conor Hesse is their current bassist; Jesse was the one who recorded bass on this album before Sean joined, though Sean's playing bass in the music video for 'Hybrid Earth'. Adam Hicks was their original bassist.
Garrison is too busy with his graphic design career and Alan works with his wife Sarah on The Artificials, and I doubt either of them would rejoin Erra because of fallout with Jesse.
