They’ve also released a new track called Aozora. It is incredible. Easily the best of the new tracks they’ve released from the album.

So glad I didn't listen to any live recordings and saved myself for the fresh listen. Aozora is fucking amazing, easily the best thing they've put out since Sound Awake dropped. The whole "waiting for the great escape" section' after the final chorus is so fucking good easily one of the best things they've wrote.

I heard the album was supposed to come out in October? Seems like they missed a trick by not striking when the iron is hot and doing a Deftones with releasing the album a month after announcing it Gonna be a long 5 months.

Someone made a comment on their instagram regarding Kenny saying the album would be out in October last month, and the band's account replied that they should blame the band's manager



I do think it's a pretty inane decision to release an album 6 months after you've already released 2 singles from it (3 if you include All It Takes, which is on the album)

Yeah, people are justified in feeling a bit pissed off. During the current tour, Kenny was constantly saying that it was being released late October. He even mentioned the exact date being the 31st of October. Now we will have to endure nearly half a year of radio silence before hearing the rest of the album. I have a suspicion they will release Animation closer to the end of the year though.
