Yeah and if you are a staff reviewer on a music review site you would think that you could easily look past "abrasion" (lol at that anyway, this is fucking Kanye West) and give the music a subjective look upon first listen (or two or three).
You didn't give it a chance because you heard it was bad and went into it with that mentality. As did a lot of people.
Reality is, this is a very well-produced album that is of the same quality as the rest of Kanye's catalog aside from MBDTF. If you are fan of his music, it doesn't make much sense that you wouldn't like this (unless it was purely because of the slight musical change of direction).
