They make sure the guitars are pronounced (for good reason) but it's not like this is ...And Justice For All.

If you're referring to just this album, I know exactly what you mean. The kick drum is super punchy and it seems like they made the choice to cut a lot of low end in general. Conversely, I always thought Fortress sounded a bit on the muddy side.

It’s certainly not perfect but I much prefer the song-writing on that one, think they really evolved. Personal preference.

Yeah there's quite a thing going on between Kezia vs. Fortress. I happen to think both are at least a 4.5 though. In terms of what's better is basically a mood thing.
