You're an emotional guy :-D
But seriously, I nearly broke down when I heard 'Get 'Em Out By Friday', such a moving song, despite the weird as fuck ending.

Musical Box would probably take it home, it's such a brilliant composition. I only have that album at like a 3.5 or so but it's such an amazing song

The Lamb speaks to me more than this and Foxtrot. I have a much stronger emotional connection to that album.
Same. But I do love Supper's Ready about as much as The Lamb's best parts.

Really? That's the one Genesis album I'm able to fully connect with emotionally. Maybe one day it will click with you on a personal level like it did for me.

It needs more jams, it's a double album and I've listened to whole thing twice. My main gripe with it is that Phil and Mike literally do nothing
|
| |
Phil has some good moments imo and I wouldn't really criticise an album (at least not one of that album's style) because the bass player doesn't stand out, as long as his playing is adequate and audible.
To be honest I don't think there's any prog album I've connected with emotionally as much as The Lamb, minus a few Tull albums.
