DDD is it time for drunk flame wars again? haha
anyway, this certainly is their best production and afaik they did this all by themselves in Beck's cellar or something. I don't see this as their prime as I always saw them doing something new and different with every record. so every record stands on its own on a horizontal line for me, not on a vertical rank. however, I can understand if people dig the direction of other records over this - as is the other way around

as for the chestpiece: here is a link from my tattoo artist. I combined the first line/mainline of Stations of the New Cross with the cover of NIN's Downward Spiral in which I always see the side of a face. I pitched the idea to her and let her freestyle that shit on my chest. (sorry for that stupid long link, it's from facebook)

thanks y'all. All the credits go to my artist. I can only recommend to find an artist you trust and whose style you really dig, pitch them a vague concept and let them do the rest with their freedom. If the artist has fun and can be creative, it will be awesome
