I’ve found their older stuff to be nowhere near as good as the late 2000 to now stuff but that’s just me being a soft middle aged cunt I spose. Judgement does have some cracking tunes on it.

Judgement is such a depressing and nihilistic listen in the best way, with a soul warming payoff at the end.

A lot of Weather Systems was actually written along with this album, and I think Internal Landscapes was one of those songs. It's why this album's title appears in Gathering of the Clouds. They also considered releasing the tracks from Gathering Of the Clouds to Storm Before the Calm as an EP (and maybe Internal Landscapes as a closer, but not sure about that one) before deciding to write more songs to make it a full-length.
