"I know some people are probably going to disagree with me here, I REALLY love the first three tracks, but I think conceptually things pick up with Perfect Disguise onwards. I kind of just space out with the first three tracks, and the run from Perfect Disguise to Stars are Projectors is one of the best runs I've ever witnessed in an album. "

yeah first three rule, but this album is all about the progression and the second half

"I love Paper Thin Walls. It's a chance for the album to let loose with a smile, even if it really contorts into a grimace."

They stuck Paper Thin Walls in there so you don't slit your wrists during the second half of the record

agree exactly treb. Plus the last third has Wild Pack, Lives, and Life Like Weeds, some of their best tunes so far imo

I mean for all he knows the album could open with Third Planet and then be some bass wanks with circus noises and animal orgies in the background for the next hour

Fair enough but I just mean 3rd Planet has that sound that introduces the album well.

Whole album is perfect but as soon as The Cold Part hits this thing goes to an entirely new level and just engulfs me in its atmosphere
