Palms wasn't good, but Horizons was good, and the new B-Sides were ESPECIALLY good. So there's hope.

Palms was the only Thrice album I flat-out disliked. But I’m still on board with them broadening out their sound lately.
Didn’t know they released a B-sides album but I’m interested now

To Be Everywhere was the last one I liked all the way through. Horizons had a couple good songs but was mostly boring and forgettable. Palms was bad. Beggars should be at least a 4 on here, arguably their most mature album.

I don't get why this gets so much love and Horizons and Palms don't.

^^^ It's actually quite simple...
Beggars is the better album of the two. "We Move Like Swingsets" is only a few minutes, and surpasses anything on Palms, or Horizons... But that's just me.

This is actually a good album with a lot of brilliant moments. It showed a certain growth and maturity to their sound, even by stripping it back, that I think has aged beautifully. On the other hand, Palms is a pile of dog shit and Horizons is an album that simply exists.

Saw them perform this in its entirety in SF last night, and man the title track is fucking crushing live.

Saw 'The Artist in the Ambulance' in full during the 20th anniversary tour, loving the recent tours with full length albums - what a blast.

Circles and Beggars have some of the best lyrics I've heard from any artist at any time, and somehow I need to keep reminding myself that this album is one of their best.

Yeah honestly if I go down the line of their discography I'm not sure anything beats this out in a 1:1 comparison. Vheissu probably comes closest, but I prefer how this makes me feel.

This one is starting to click! Already upped from a 3 to 3.5 and I can sense a 4 in the making. Loving the slower songs on this.
I still think All the World Is Mad is not a good first track, though.
