I guess it's pretty good, but The Black Album and Sound of White Noise are so much better, tbh.

Sound Of White Noise rules. Honestly, each "transition" album rules (this, CTE, and SOWN). Slayer never transitioned so they don't count.

i mean diabolos is like nu-metal mixed with hardcore and thrash but it is way thrashier than the other big 4 transition albums

YOUR OPINION DOESN'T MATTER!" /jk, but really tho.

Ya need to change that soon. It's a great album, it's Top 3 Anthrax. Only is awesome, but it's not even the best song on the album.

Album starts awesome but seriously loses steam from about the 3/4 mark on

Enter Sandman: 5/5 One of 90's metal's best openers

Sad But True: 5/5 Heavy as fuck

Holier Than Thou: 3.5/5 Music's great but lyrics are pure shite

The Unforgiven: 5/5 power chords under solo + solo itself is among their finest

Wherever I May Roam: 5/5 Probably the best song here tbh

Don't Tread on Me: 2.5/5 not their worst song but most boring on the album

Through the Never: 3/5 Pretty cool riffs but lyrics are crap

Nothing Else Matters: 4/5 great power ballad but too pansy for Metallica at the time

Of Wolf and Man: 4/5 stupid lyrics but they actually work sort of

The God that Failed: 3.5/5 it's okay

My Friend of Misery: 3.5/5 The opening bass part is lovely

Struggle Within: 3/5 pretty weak closer

this my 1st review guyz so b nice

Agreed totally man. I mentioned the song a couple days ago in this thread and nobody seems to appreciate how awesome it is.

I think I'd be happy never hearing another Metallica song ever again. I think it's been about a year or two since I heard them at all.
