My regular single LP of the foxes reissue sounds great, but I got the audiophile version for both the regular and collector’s edition — I think a couple ppl had popping on one particular color of the foxes one tho?
The Untitled ones sounded amazing. If you don’t mind having just black, the audiophile version really is worth it. I’d say go for it for sure, but I’m also a shill for these guys so take it with a grain of salt lol

fuq ya boiii. I'm really excited for this tour barring coronavirus lol. I think this will actually be the first tour I'm catching multiple shows on -- have tickets to two already and maybe will swing a third, but I'd have to drive a few hours

@heyadam got the Untitled collector's edition and it's fucking gorgeous, no complaints there. just don't want to shell out for this if CFUTF sounded ehh

They’re all packaged the same and using the same material sources I’m p sure. I think I saw the post on Reddit you might have been referring to — it’s be a bummer for sure to get a poop sounding one but from the majority of comments I’ve seen floating around people were happy with it. We haven’t gotten the deluxe editions yet so I can’t comment on that tho!

ah lol I thought people had got their collector's of CFUTF already and that's what the sound complaints were from. I'm dumb, gonna pull the trigger on this one fuck it
EDIT: but where my ten stories collector's edition fr

honestly my fav box set of anything -- the TS deluxe set was my first vinyl purchase in general and I devoured the lyric book that came with it. The box itself is in bad shape cause I took it everywhere I moved and a legit fuckin earthquake knocked one of my audio monitors onto it lol. the records themselves were fine but it was wild

and ya I'm p sure it was the cinnamon red single LP pressing that a couple people had popping on? but others said theirs sounded fine so I dunno. and hell yeah, this set looks amazing. I'm so stoked about the prints and the patches

I may never even open and play this lol. I have an older pressing that has a beat up sleeve from moving and being played a lot. Might just tuck this one away forever. It’s the holy grail of all media after all.

Lmao A Glass Can Only just took out Sweater head to head over on the fb fan group song tournament by one vote. Stoked about that

my hangover did not need to find out that way -_-

"The breakdown for the Elite 8 is:
4 tracks from Brother, Sister
2 tracks from CFUTF
1 track from Pale Horses
1 track from Untitled"

dude they were in like five votes of each other for the entirety of the 24hrs. Yeah, rip to the other albums — the way the bracket is lined up I’m predicting it’s gonna be either Porcupine or the winner between January 1979/Mexican War Streets that takes the whole thing
|
| |
January 1979 for the one true win lol

it’s almost as basic as sweater thooooo. I hope another huge upset is in the works lol.
|
| |
Yes true lol, but Sweater wouldn't have been the worst pick if - I lost all faith in the contest as soon as Nine Stories, Bear's Vision and Fox's Dream dropped out, so might as well back the hardest slammer at this point ;]
Mexican War Streets would be a fun one though
