fun fact: two tracks from this album were used in programs Hugh Laurie starred in ("Teardrop" in House and "Angel" in the remake of Flight of the Phoenix.)

I agree that the Fraser songs tend to be the best ones on here, especially since Group Four is my favorite and an absolutely astonishing track in any way. That said, I really can't say I enjoy Jay's uneven vocals on Dissolved Girl. The songs sung by the actual band members are stronger imo, especially the title track. I can't get into Andy's vocals though, although the songs he sings are mostly great (escpecially Man Next Door, I really like that one). (Exchange) is the exception, that one's the weakest track on here imo, for a lot of reasons. So, vocal-wise it's a mixed bag for me. Compositorically however, this is extremely consistent. I can see myself bumping this in the future.
