Yeah, 6 or 7 years ago I would've loathed most of what I listen to now.

It's nice to grow as an individual, isn't it?

it always bugs me when my brother criticises a lot of the music I listen to yet he hasn't progressed since like he was 12.

And most of what he likes is doom metal (yay) and EDM (boo)

There's no denying that a lot of EDM is generic, but that's the case for many genres tbh. It's kinda hard to judge though because I don't think EDM is really a sit down and appreciate it genre but one that pumps you up/gives you energy/makes you dance.

That's what I have hardstyle for.

Because when the Kanye and the Yeezus rage inside me, there's no getting out of the zone.

I love this album so much. One of those that you can start from beginning and listen to end without skipping. Depressing but oh so good. I wouldn't have it any other way.

'sputnikmusic is pretty hipster heavy'

I really wish people would stop associating the hipster lifestyle to certain types of music. It's not like hipsters all listen to the same thing and it really gets annoying to be pegged as a hipster for listening to bands like the National, Girzzly Bear, mewithoutYou, etc. Not to mention, I have a beard and have to wear glasses most of the time, so I'm pretty much fucking doomed.
