The only song that I feel kind of winds up going totally nowhere is the T/T. The lame breakdown at the end just feels pretty anticlimactic after 10 minutes, but I'd argue all the other tracks have satisfying conclusions/pay-offs

Glad some other people feel similarly regarding Maynard's vocals. FI has all the hallmarks of a phoned-in performance. He sounds so disinterested on the majority of songs. The only song that comes to mind that features Maynard seeming to give a shit is on the latter half of Invincible (tears in my eyes/chasing Ponce De Leon's phantom soul/). I really like how he sings in sync with the drums during that part.

T/t is the only thing scavengeable on this record and it still has Maynard’s trademark unforgivable vocal style at 7:35

@Christbait I agree with that sentiment. Also on how this album feels so "jammy", Adam, Justin and Danny basically recorded long instrumentals while Maynard was fucking around with APC or Puscifer or working on his wines, sang on top of the instrumentals once they were finished and called it a day.

I am so glad I'm not the only person who hates this with a burning passion. Might work for some Puscifer tracks but it sounds so shithouse on this track.

I once again appeal that this album is mid.

I wish the label blocked Maynard from doing Puscifer bc honestly it turned him from barely tolerable to downright unbearable.

I have it on good authority Rick Astley is a personal fan of Puscifer, actually, which is just downright hysterical to me.

Alas, I can’t reveal my sources without jeopardising them (you might say I’m never gonna give them up), but suffice it to say that they are well placed and trustworthy.
