Idk dude, the production has kind of aged a lot but the songs haven't aged a day imo. There's such darkness and style to everything, on top of how influential it is. Everyone wants to say all later post punk groups sound like Joy Division, but they still seem like their own thing to me. I just wish everything sounded a bit more lively and louder like on Les Bains Douches.

@death, honestly I'm not sure. There are obvious immediate winners like the opener and New Dawn Fades, but a lot of this is kinda a slog to go through when you aren't into it. I kinda just grew to like the whole thing a lot over years passed by, but I don't really think this is something I would go around rec'ing people to listen, despite it being so well known.

I think it's worth giving another shot, try to be a bit more open to its rougher qualities/have less expectations. No harm, no foul if you don't end up digging it afterwards anyways.
